The Journal
of Namibian Studies. History, Politics, Culture (JNS) aims
to make available scholarly work and groundbreaking and original research
of high standards in English, to an academic audience around
the world. Articles submitted for publication will be thoroughly and
anonymously peer-reviewed.
There are two issues per year. The journal is inter-
and transdisciplinary, covering the humanities and the social sciences.
As such it wants to serve as an interface between local and international
Namibianist scholars. Its main objective is to ensure that Namibia-related
debates, mostly without adequate Namibian outlet, find their way into
both, the country and the wider international fora; further, that
these are conducted on a high academical level.
